Karen’s garden 4th Ave grew tomatillos for a couple of years in the garden beds They were laying in her yard between the driftwood we collected from the beach that held space between the grass in her yard for food to grow.

After Tom and Kyle to returned to London I continued on another fantastic adventure traveling from island to island on my own Odyssey in 2000AD to visit Santorini and explore more ancient ruins and contemporary culture of Ios, Mikonos and Crete.

The Greek Islands In the Mediterranean set the stage for a great summer. Whitewashed terraces with narrow staircases poached on the cliffs above the Mediterranean with the blue domes of the churches make an iconic landmark.

I rented a motor scooter for the week and made some new friends.

We could pick up a bottle of wine some fresh cheese and salami and have a picnic on the beach or go down the steps to one of many cafes and dine in style.
My friends Kyle, Tom and Ish just picked me up from the Athens airport in the morning as promised.
We visited the Acropolis that sits overlooking the city of Athens.

We went from the Parthenon to the Acropolis, visited the markets, museums and the new infrastructure recently installed after the summer Olympics of 1996.

Epic journeys across time with good friends. And continue the Greek Odyssey into the islands.
I then bought a ferry ticket into Jordan to Aqaba. I stayed one night in Aqaba and then headed to Wadi Rum in the desert.
I spent a night with the Bedouin out under the stars, where we camped with a fire next to the rocks, the Jabel cliffs rising sheer from the desert floor.

We visited the Pearl Harbor War Museum while staying in Hawaii the museum is a spectacular tribute to dear American war machine and showed us various types of weaponry including battleships jet fighter planes helicopters and submarines.

We visited a spectacular battleship with enormous guns on the deck and impressive construction. There were some very good exhibits describing some of the battles that were held in the Pacific against Japanese bombers and the Japanese Navy
The fighter jets were also very impressive and it was interesting to see the evolution of military aviation over the course of several decades with examples of different types of fighter jets and helicopters that we could look at up Close. and touch.
These are a collection of drawings I while I was traveling along the Silk Road in 2000 AD through Egypt Jordan and Syria visiting ancient ruins.

A favourite stone soup stew, this is a plant based beefless Irish stew. Adding a half pint of Guinness will also improve the flavour.
**It is important to bless the stones and be grateful for all of the ingredients. Thank the rabbit, a well dressed rat or other beefless plant based substitute can be added instead for protein. Moths, crickets or grubs can also work.

Sautee butter and garlic in the bottom of a large soup pan on medium heat for 3 minutes or until browned,
Add the onions and leeks, and add the meat or plant substitute.
We just spent the last week of June in Hawaii for my sister’s 50th birthday. It was a great family re-union. it was a great chance for our family to get together and for the cousins to hang out. We went surfing great tuna poke and sunsets on the North Shore.

We also visited the Polynesian Cultural Centre and the War Museum, cruised through a couple of missiles and went swimming with the turtles.
